Is my middle name “von stupid” or is this really true?
Hi good people.
I’m trying to build a standard sampler.
Is it true that you need to use the polybuffer to be able to use ADSR
As I can understand through my google expedition, I can’t not just put a simple adsr after or before my sample got trigger.
I will like to know how a can do a amp adsr for my one hit samples?
Or if you have a link to a video or something.
Thanks a lot.
Hi good person,
The answer would be no, depending on what you mean by "standard sampler". If you're referring to the [adsr~] object in Max, then you can place it inside or outside the [poly~] container for multiple instances of your mono-sampler patch. If you want a global ADSR envelope, place one inside your mono-sampler and then use the (target 0) to poly for each of the ADSR values; if you're referring to the new [polybuffer~] object in Max, I don't use it, sorry :(

Thanks so mush for your help.
But I simply don’t understand how to put a adsr / amp env on a sampler.
The way I “wish” to do it is.
Trigger sample -> adsr/amp env -> and out comes a sample with a slow attack and long release.
I don’t get it ,, sorry……
ok i got it working. Thanks
