I am working on a MacBookPro 6,2 Intel Core i5 2.53 GHz machine running Mac OS X ver. 10.6.8 and Max5 ver. 5.1.7 installed. I need to use Max to control various parameters of the internal iSight camera while communicating with an Internet Flash server. I would be obliged if you could pinpoint me to the right direction.

Tutorial 52 on Jitter Networking has been the first reference I have investigated, but the server running flash surely does not send to me a Jitter matrix. After browsing the forum I have come across various useful suggestions but to be honest I am quite a novice when it comes to programming and networks.
