I am trying to put a wave file display into a matrix as soon as it loads using the "viz" message. For some reason this patch works sometimes, but kills Max about 1 of every 3 executions. What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks for the report and clear example. I can reproduce the issue here and will log it for further investigation.

For now, you might look at jit.graph, etc. as a possible workaround.
