It seems that matrixoutput is not enabled on the windows version of max 4.6. Perhaps it has to do with fonts, but after all the geometry is passed to opengl so ...

It works perfectly on mac, and allows me to concat the matrixes outputed for each letter into one giant matrix for futher mat processing/deformation.

What a pity. I know that 4.6 is not much supported those days.

The problem is that i control/devellop my render environment on mac and use cheap pcs for render engines. ...

I wich so much cycling could provide a late incremental upgrade to bridge this inconsistency between mac/pc.

By the way, is the matrixouput feature for text3d supported on pc/mac in max 5?

PS: this forum and support from cycling is awesome, but i support the call from many maxers for a kind of official wiki/sharing space for patches, tricks. it could also provide links to threads on the forum. I feel sometimes that great effort from maxers to help each others is lost in the search..
