jit.phys.multiple and worldbox in separate patchers?

hi all-
i have a master patch with my worldbox, render, and window - and a separate patch where i'm trying to render a jit.phys.multiple object - it is only showing a single object in my window, though.
do these need to be integrated in the same patch to work?
