jit.qt.videout error

August 27, 2006 | 4:32 am

Hi,

When I send "open" message to jit.qt.videoout,
it failed and the following error message was displayed in Max window.

(I%(B error: jit.qt.videoout: error 32 creating gworld
jit.qt.videoout: opening connection…
(I%(B error: error making image description: -50success

It occurred on Intel Mac mini(Core Duo 1.66GHz), Max/MSP 4.6.0,
Jitter 1.6.0, Mac OS X 10.4.7, QuickTime Pro 7.1.2 with Sony DV
Handycam DCR-PC300 (VTR mode), no other firewire device.

But I can open and send images on PowerBook G4 with the same version
softwares and the same video camera.

I’ve never installed 4.6.1/1.6.1 for some reason but there’s no
descriptions about it in change log/release note.

I’m glad if someone points the reason…

Thank you.

Best,

Thanks, Scott Fitzgerald reported this a little bit back. The problem
will be fixed in the next incremental release of Jitter.

Thanks for the report. Jeremy has fixed this bug for the Jitter 1.6.2
release which will be available in the next few weeks.
