jit.rota (image rotation problems)

Nov 06 2006 | 11:12 am

Hi all,

I am attempting to rotate an image using jit.rota. The problem arises due to the fact that the zoomed image has constantly changing x and y offset coordinates so the anchor points are constantly om the wrong place. Is there an easy fix for this? ie to rotate the zoomed in image constantly displayed in the jitter video window?

Is the most processor friendly way to display the image simply using jit.qt.movie with metro 2 and rate at 0?

Thanks,

Kit

I remember Wesley posted a patch for rotating textures about a week ago. It
deals with the issues of x-y offset in zoomed images. *

(win), it represents a max patcher in text format. Then start max and choose
"new from clipboard". You will see the patch.
