I am wrapping up a quick demo app for a client and the compiled standalone is giving the following errors in the Max window:
jit.gl.shader: unable to find CG framework
jit.openexper: nosuch object
I’ve seen other topics dealing w/these errors but the posts w/solutions are blank.
if you are on a mac.
put the Cg.framework folder and the file jit.openexr.mxo in "your.app/Contents/support/" folder. its inside your standalone application.
ah cool yes. thanks for the help!
BTW, this won’t be necessary to manually include it anymore in the next incremental.

using the 5.1.6 (43950), I still have to include it manually. Do you confirm?
Still the same with 5.1.7
I guess that’s not so easy to fix, but that would be great
have the same problem
where can I find Cg.framework folder and the file jit.openexr.mxo
Still happening on 5.1.9
btw, you can find these in /Applications/Max5/Cycling ’74/jitter-externals/
still happening on 6.0.7
are there plans to fix this?
Also still finding it on Max 6 (but haven’t up’ed to 6.0.7 yet) so +1 for a fix please! :)
still on Max 6.0.8
yeah, this is still an issue. :(
FWIW, harmless error message. Will be suppressed in 6.1.1.
