Hi all,
I’m trying to use jit.uldl object to download weather data, but under OSX, 10.5.6, (using Max 5.0.4) it doesn’t seem to be working. Instead it throws up -1 or 61 or bad file errors.
However, run the patch on a windows system (using Max 5.0.7) and it works fine, no errors what so ever.
(included sample patch that works on windows but not on OSX

Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Does anyone know if there was a fault with jit.uldl under 5.0.4? (ie: update to the latest version and all will be well).

Also, is there any information on the error numbers? Can’t seem to find anything about the errors in the manuals/tutorials etc

Have now tested it on 5.0.7 and 5.0.5 on OSX, seems to work fine. As a thought, anyone know if there are issues with using jit.uldl on a proxy’d/nat’d internet connection?

That’s the only thing i’m thinking it could be – i’ve been testing it at home (nat’d via a router) and then on the universitys network (i assume it proxy’d galore) which is where i seem to be having the problems.
