jit.window unwanted resize
im playing an mpeg2 file in jit.qt.movie that renders directly to a named window. when i open a new movie, the window automatically resizes to the resolution of the movie. i can seem to find a way to disable this and have to send a rect command to the window after the movie has started to get it back to the desired size/position.
am i missing something obvious?
nice!
hmm can you send a patch with that feature
here the jit.windows stay always the same size
heres a test patch that shows the problem on my machine.
actually i just noticed the window does not resize, but the movie does not fill the entire window. i have to resize the window a few times to different values and then it does.
i can't reproduce over here.
please send relevant system information: (os, gpu, quicktime version, max/jitter version)
os 10.5.6, quicktime 7.6, maxjitter 5.0.6. and im running it on a mac book pro 2.4ghz intel core duo with 2 gig ram. the movie files im using are mpeg2.
this is what it says in the graphics and displays in system profiler.

i just did some more tests with different codecs and it only seems to have this problem with the mpeg2 files im using. i would be interested to know if anyone does not have this problem with mpeg2 - ie, that the patch works ok for them with mpeg2.
