hello,

I just noticed something :if you play the same movie with QT and with jit.qt.movie, the jit.qt.movie one is played darker.
the movie is H264 codec. you can see it on the screenshot.

what is your advice ?
thx.

Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

The qt.movie @highquality attribute might make a difference, but I've never noticed it effecting brightness/gamma. My guess is that you may have some setting in quicktime a/v controls, or even a graphics card that is overriding your quicktime playback for "movie presentation" mode. You could also see if there is any difference when you move to a GL renderer.

When I see darkness type changes like this, I start to suspect ICC color profile support and/or gamma adjustment.

@leo I did it already. It's exactly the same. suppor at cycling could reproduce this too.

@diablodale even it does the same thing if I export a PhotoJpeg version, I think you're in the right direction.

anyway converting to uyvy with a light colour correction i can get almost the same image...
