jitter plays darker… ?

I just noticed something :if you play the same movie with QT and with, the one is played darker.
the movie is H264 codec. you can see it on the screenshot.

what is your advice ?

The @highquality attribute might make a difference, but I’ve never noticed it effecting brightness/gamma. My guess is that you may have some setting in quicktime a/v controls, or even a graphics card that is overriding your quicktime playback for "movie presentation" mode. You could also see if there is any difference when you move to a GL renderer.

Perhaps read over this thread
When I see darkness type changes like this, I start to suspect ICC color profile support and/or gamma adjustment.

@leo I did it already. It’s exactly the same. suppor at cycling could reproduce this too.

@diablodale even it does the same thing if I export a PhotoJpeg version, I think you’re in the right direction.

anyway converting to uyvy with a light colour correction i can get almost the same image…
