I am just too busy to learn max and figure this out myself, however I am will to pay someone (within reason) to take a lemur app and convert it to max/msp so I can use it on my pc.
The app which can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Odw2D7a3lA4&feature=channel_page] and the source code can be found http://www.jazzmutant.com/lemuruser_moduledetails.php?id=18 here

All you do is open the patch named "lemursequencer 03.pat" with Max while you have the 'max sequencer 11.jzml' file loaded on your Lemur. You do have a Lemur right...?

I dug through some of the files in the source, they're kind of confusing, though I'm sure it works great. Not sure how tough it would be to convert it, it would almost be easier to rewrite it with the specs provided. I don't have a lemur, unfortunately, so I can't really see how it works, but if there are detailed specs of exactly what everything does, it might be worth a shot to re-create.

8 tracks of steps with independent velocities, 6 preset banks, and independent track timing are not difficult to do in Max (interpolation between presets is also possible). The effect envelopes aren't tough either, just to send values, provided you have effects ready for them to control. Plus I'm assuming you only want it as a control interface, that is, it doesn't need to actually play any samples---that would be done by another program, correct?

If you have more info email me and we can discuss it some more, it sounds interesting.
