as the title implies. I'm trying, instead of providing a choice of midi in and outs via the umenu objects, to find an object that reads the currently selected tracks' midi in and midi from current value that the device resides in. Avoiding a drop down box of choices..ideally a get current state object i would suppose....any ideas. I'm a noobie so if i'm blatantly missing something would someone be so kind as to accept my forgiveness and point me in the right direction.
