Light Tracking-Eraser
First of all, I have minimal max experience, and I am fairly new to Jitter, so sorry if these questions seem boring and stupid. I struggle to understand the programs and im quite slow!
Anyway, on to my problem.
For a university project, I am creating an installation based around using light tracking to interact with visuals which will be projected onto a screen. My aim is to use the torch light like an eraser and wipe away images and have another image underneath that comes though.
Im struggling to put the patch together and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? My aim is to create a work similar to QFWFQ Duo work "Disconcertio".http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GBsl_SYN4I
I realise that the duo use different program but i would like the same effect.
If anyone would like to offer some advice on the patch or where i could find some information i really appreciate it.
All advice will be greatly appriciated!
I would recommend working with jit.lumakey. Should be able to get you most of the way there.
Check out the cv.jit objects for tracking the light-
They are extremely well-made and very useful.
