Hey, is it possible to limit the send and receive objects to only act within the device they reside in?
Right now when I load the same device 2 times, the send object in the one device is affecting the object in the other device as well.
Put "—" (three dashes) in front of the name of your s/r objects. If it’s named "foo", make it "—foo". It’s all (very well hidden) here : http://cycling74.com/docs/max6/dynamic/c74_docs.html#live_symbols
@cycling74: please, this question get’s asked like every week or so, which is a strong sign, that it might be hidden too well inside the documentation. Who would search for a document called "Using Symbols in Max for Live", when he has this problem?
Thanks David! You’re absolutely right, just having for example a m4l tab in the sends helppatcher would be helpful and easier to find.
