Loading an audio file into a buffer is freezing my sync~ object, its output stops updating. I'm curious whether this same problem occurs on other people's machines, and if anyone knows why it might be happening. Here's a minimal patch that reproduces the problem:

I was still using tiger. Doing a clean ('erase all') install of leopard seems (so far) to have fixed this for me.
