I'm trying to use the LOM to access the row of 8 buttons on the Novation Nocturn, to switch them on/off, and get the current values of all 8, in order to use them as a small step sequencer.

I've plugged in my Nocturn, opened the LOM.Navigator (

 and found that the Nocturn uses the GenericScript. I've tried a few functions to see if I can turn lights on and off, but I don't really know what I'm doing yet.

Does anyone have experience of using the Nocturn in this way and could give me a few pointers?

I plan to buy a Launchpad soon, which I will be working with in the same way, but thought I would give the Nocturn a try first, to get a head start.
