somtimes ( for no reason that i can tell) the audio flips out and starts playing random sounds from my default midi bank ( i think anyway. it just plays pianos and bongos and that stupid scream sound). somtimes i can fix it by turning on and off an EZdac or somthing, other times i have to close max, and still others i need to restart my machine. any ideas?

hehe yeah it would help to include that. im running Xp on a home made PC. though i dont know much about computers. i have a Soundblaster Audigy ( the first one they made).
