I notice that Max always crashes when there are too many lines in the Max window. Once in a while I get a warning about truncation, but by then it is too late. I’m very careful about where I put print objects, and I am in the habit of clearing the window by hand every few minutes before too much builds up.
It would be great if there were a clearmaxwin object and a maxwinlength object so that I could keep the output from building up too much.
Is this a widespread issue?
I’m running 5.1.7 on MacOS 10.6.7, but this happened the same way in previous versions. My Mac Pro has 12GB of RAM.
