Other than the occasional question from a Live user who has found their way to Max-land recently I haven't seen much discussion of Max4Live recently. Perhaps we have all learned some patients since the Max5 release and as a community are doing a great job giving Cycling'74 some space to finish their development. I know I have been anxiously awaiting the release as I have some projects in mind that hopefully will work out great once Max and Live are combined and have been checking the homepage quite frequently as of late in hopes of some news.

Anyway, I think I found some good news for those of us who are waiting (or perhaps this is old news and has been discussed since now that I am back in school I haven't been able to follow the forum as much as I was perviously). Check out what is slated for the first day of the IRCAM Forum Workshops (check out 2:30 specifically):

I know a lot of unexpected problems could arise in the few weeks until the workshops starts, but reading that put a smile on my face and I thought I'd share

It has always been relativily quiet on the Max Forums here concerning Max For Live. However, if you look on twitter or perform a google search you will see tons of results. Somehow a rumor got started that is going to be released in November. I am not sure if that is true or not. If you want to follow the latest info on Max For Live and it's associated technologies, check out 

. It is a user community based around Max For Live, Max/MSP/Jitter and Live.
