Im using Wiring to capture data from a variable resistance. I take those data and print them on the wiring serial port using a 9600 speed. if i check them on serial port screen, information comes out as expected, no abnormalities.

When I go to MAX and use the SERIAL object and print those data, they come out interrupted, with empty information. there is an evident inconsistency between what i see in wiring and max.

i am using a METRO object to read data from max. i am also using a value of 0.5 for this METRO object in order to quickly print info.

can anyone tell me what is happening when i get this empty info? has anyone had the same problem?

You may need the incremental update for the serial object (if you're on Windows).

I had similar problems with that object reading potentiometers etc. from a microcontroller board. I haven't tried the update yet (boards aren't here) but it may be the fix that's needed for us.
