Max jobs are hard to come by. In general programming for the arts
is something that few companies really pay much attention to.
And academia has an endless supply of cheap graduate labor so they
do need to look for anyone.
I think your best bet is to keep doing your own projects and apply
for arts funding yourself.

things like max msp work is very much none existent, unless it is a school which is looking for a teacher, or something like that.
all the work that you see people doing, is set up by max people who know other max people. all about the communication directly with people.
i have been trying to sort out something for maxers based in manchester to get together, so maybe, in some way, we can then get other work from people seeing us do our maxing thing, by doing live sets. but the pain, it just takes time and getting hold of the right people.
its either that, or move to san francisco, where it all seems to be happening for maxers :)…
