MODULAR PROGRAMMING CONVENTION BERLIN 2014
As a reaction to some amazing feedback we received after this year’s Max/MSP festival in the UK where digital and sound artists presented their works and ran inspiring workshops (http://code-control.com/), we have decided to organise a modular programming conference in Berlin to take place in 2014. Please let me know what kind of content you would like to see at this event and if there is a general interest in such an event amongst the German Max community. Cheers! Mel
high general interest here as i’m living there..no idea at the moment about any special content. just like to see and hear about advanced maxing and creative projects of other people. O.
I am also living in Berlin and am interested in a Max-related meeting. We did a Hacklab on this year’s CTM Festival which produced many great results that incorporated Max, PD, Arduino and more interaction-based techniques. Check out my blog post on my project, an interactive graph sequencer that can be controlled by a drum kit: http://blog.sebastian-arnold.net/2013/02/finite-state-machine-sequencer/ I’d be happy to continue my work on this in a convention context…
Like I said in the other thread, I’d be very interested to come/participate.
For me: Visual/image/3d/jitter things… only.
I could be interested, but I’m in Toulouse, south of France.
anyway, I have friends in Berlin and it could be a motivation to come to Berlin…
I’m working on a granular system using gen (a digital version of the tempophon)
a "modular resonator system" http://nibul.fr/category/logiciels/banque-de-resonateurs
I think an opportunity to discuss skills and techniques with Reaktor or Isadora users would be quite exciting. Is there any scope/interest for cross-programme workshops? or Basic Max skills for Reaktor users sorta thing….
I think there are also lots of vvvv users in Berlin who would be interested too. I’m particularly keen to see more realtime AV & installations.
looking for a MAX programmer in Berlin that might be interested in this project
This is definitely an event in which I would like to contribute effort/content.
