motion trackers- sensors to create an interactive study zone
hey i wonder if you guys could help me out.. been absent for a while.
i've had an idea, using some kind of motion sensors, track the movement of an individual subject in a room to alter the mix of a musical composition based on their location.
Using three to five sensors (preferably usb), divide the room into zones with a speaker placed in each zone, with an overall aim to create an study zone for a child with ADHD.
any help would prove invaluable.
thanks,

There are a large number of ways to deal with this. Do you control the lighting in the room? How exact does it need to be? Only one subject?
Off the top of my head, is sounds like you could use a webcam for this task, mounted as high as possible. I'd look at the cv.jit objects for motion tracking ideas.
