I always seem to have the hardest time with the most simplest of problems...

How could I convert lists of ascii numbers to a list of hex numbers? The 

saurus said use number box but these lists are long sysex written in hex 

and I would need to convert then into normal numbers so that sysexformat

Did you want ASCII to hex? I'd do it like this:
