I’m using jit.qt.movie to playback clips, but when I set the loop function to zero and then try and play a clip it freezes on the first frame. If I set the loop function to 1 the clips will play, but I don’t want them to loop?
to make sure it starts on first frame first give "frame 0" message before the "start" message .
good advice, but I actually fixed the problem by re-exporting the .mov’s through quicktime.
Not sure how or why it fixed the problem, because the original .mov where’s exported the same way using quicktime pro 7.0.
Maybe just some weird glitch in the exports. hmmm..
maybe the poster frame was at the end of the movie
