I’ve been searching the list but couldn’t find the answer to this question. How can I get my fps from jit.fpsgui into a number box?
Since fps is an attribute of jit.fpsgui, you can always say getfps or
getname or gettype etc.
#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P window linecount 1;
#P newex 196 195 32 196617 print;
#P message 146 125 38 196617 getfps;
#P user jit.fpsgui 146 160 60 196617 0;
#P connect 0 1 2 0;
#P connect 1 0 0 0;
#P window clipboard copycount 3;
I wasn’t aware of that function. It wasn’t in the help file.
That’s why we always say: the reference is the definitive reference.
The helpfile is there for the "highlights". We spend a lot of time on
the docs – don’t forget to use them!
