to avoid a too large charge on the CPU when using multiple pfft~ i was told to change the offset of some, which is the 4th argument

my I/O vector size is 512, signal vector size is 256

the reference says "it must be a multiple of the current signal size and defaults to zero"

_anything smaller than 256 is not accepted (error/warning in the max window)

_512 is not accepted (offset should be less than hop size), neither is 1024 etc

_ anything between 256 and 512 is not accepted

hummm, what is the multiple of 256 which would be smaller than 512 ???

or rather - what is the point I am not understanding??
