I am looking for a way to extract MIDI pitch values from a selected clip in Live. I need the pitch values to be output as a list.

The m4l.api.getselectednotes abstraction seems promising but I am not able to figure out how to get only the pitches out of the jit.matrix inside the abstraction.

I want sort out the single pitches in ascending order using zl.thin and z.sort to populate an area of a 8x8 grid (namely my push;)
