possible to attach shader straight to texture?

cant get it to work with the cf.edgedetect.jxs

I know that I can attach the shader to the instead but not what I want to do for different reasons …

this is exactly what the object is for.
don’t create a and a simply create a and read in your shader file.

thanks, I figured it out. but what do you mean by dont create now I did put before is not that the way to go? like this:

that’s fine.
alternatively you can simply connect the output of the gl.slab directly to the input of the gl.mesh, and remove the @texture attribute from the gl.mesh box.

two ways of doing the same thing.
