Is it possible to record a channel into a buffer (and reset it for example in every bar) and play it back immediately?

I've found it difficult to implement, honestly, I'm out of ideas :(

It should start recording when I hit the play button in Live and play it back asap, in sync with live :S

I think you will have sync problems because you observe the state of the transport through the LOM to start your recording. I think the latency to query that then launch the recording can vary.

Stephane, yes, unfortunately, the buffer idea is not OK.

The goal is to slow down the incoming audio a bit in realtime, to create oldskool flange/chorus.

I think tapin tapout could be a solution, but never used them and the help does not mention anything about the pitch thing...

Record and immediately playback from buffer in sync with live?
