How do I rename a the ‘scripting name’ of a [bpatcher] in a parent patch using a message box. Can’t seem to find any straight answers!
The message (varname whateverthenameis) works for function tables and multisliders. Whilst (sendbox varname whateverthenameis) works for standard objects!
So how is it done for Bpatchers????
I should clarify what I need to accomplish a little….
I have 6 different [Bpatchers] in a Max for Live patcher.
My problem is that the objects inside the Bpatchers are reset whenever another instance of the patch is loaded on to a different track in Live.
I have the same problem I well understood yours, how to know the script name of a bpatcher
in the patch file ?
If you could tell me, it would be super great :)
I found it… it’s solved by clicking embed patcher in parent …
