SECAM output in France?
Hello Jitter users in France,
I've got a performance next month in France and the organizers contacted me and said that my video needed to be in SECAM format. This confuses me: I thought SECAM was for broadcasts, and I'm only going to be hooking sending video out my computer to their projector. Haven't run into this issue before in France -- I have used PAL for DVDs, or have just pushed video out my computer at a projector. Can I ask Jitter users in France what they normally do for output to projectors?

You should ask them to clarify whether their projector is actually expecting an analog SECAM signal, or if by specifying SECAM they are just referring to the standard resolution/field rate of 720 x 576/50 Hz. If they do actually want an analog signal (which would be very unusual) then you're most likely going to need some sort of converter anyway.
Thanks David!
