Is there a shortcut or command for getting a contextual menu that lists all instances of the send~ and receive~ objects, followed by the name of the patcher windows in which they are used ?

If not, would'nt it be nice to have - feature request !!

What I am searching is a functionality similar to the Max send and receive objects where you can option click or double click on the objects to get info about all the receivers and senders.

I know that I can get a "universal" contextual menu by control clicking.

Doh, sorry.. Totally missed the msp extension bit there. Yeah, doesn't work that with the msp send~/receive~.

And I agree; would be a handy feature to have.
