I'm working on a piece that slowly changes when in a sample is being played. I want to change the values of the seek message for sfplay~, and the only way I could figure it out is to use metro to trigger the message, but I was curious to see if there is a more elegant solution.

Hi, you could use the object (trigger) with the arguments - from right to left - l(=list) b(=bang). see patch enclosed. BTW, if you post a patch, use , you will find it in maxmenubar/edit.
