brilliant, just brilliant! That is way too addictive!

Helped me sort out some of those msp objects I only sorta understood. Very informative and fun as hell to play with!

Thanks for your kind words – glad you enjoyed it.
It’s part of a bigger patch that I made to play around with 2d.wave~ and work out for myself what’s going on; I’m glad I had to boil it down to put it up here, because this is about the only really useful bit! (though using other waveforms to scan the Y axis can give some interesting results too…)
A couple of small buglets, which I’m sure you spotted: that should be a *~ 16. not *~ 10 before the gate~ 16 (and I guess that gate should be smoothed to prevent clicks), and the Phasor freq. flonum should really be excluded from the preset (though you’d probably want to replace that with pattr anyway)

This is a great patch! Thank you for sharing it.
I agree, it’s a lot of fun to play. Reminds me of p.decimator a bit.
