I've tweaked out the jit.gen.particles example and made something that is miles for interesting, so I thought I would share:

and one more little tweak on the initial seeding of the particles:

I really, really like this! I tweaked some settings, and have been inspired to try and figure out what the hell that original gen particle example was doing.

Also I made it react to music. (Not particularly cleanly, but I didn't want to use any externals.) - Best to go with something with a well defined kick drum.
