[sharing] Vizzie/Eurorack-like patches for audio
Hi guys,
I just finished the first beta version of a collection of Eurorack-inspired patches for sequencing, routing, and general sound trickery. They are used in a Vizzie-like manner and come with detailed help files.
They can be downloaded here:

I will update these frequently, as I'm working on them for both school and my own general kicks. If you have any bug reports or feature requests, post them here!

wow! really nice! thanks for sharing this! you make me really happy.
no way to backward engineer this? would be nice to allso learn stuff from it. :)
Actually, they're extremely easy to backwards engineer! I put all of the guts into bPatchers. To open them up, right click on them, then select Object->New View of... I didn't really comment the code, but most of the wiring is clean enough that it should be easy to take apart. I'm all for editing and learning from these, so check the license on the site if you're interested.
good idea! I'll delve into these...when I'm done hacking on what I'm hacking on at the moment...
Thanks guys.
I just updated the modules. The package now includes 3 FM Modules of varying complexity. Refresh the website and download the Beta 2 version!
i didnt know about the "new view of" option.
thanks for mentioning. normally i can open everything one way or the other.
this time i was "?"
thanks again!
hi michael, small thing; the looping envelope could use a "clear"button since the function gets messed up when changing the length. i've added it myself, but think it would be usefull to be a "feature" since this is aimed at beginners. all the best, nathan
Thank you! I'll look into that for the next update. It won't be for about two weeks or so, as all of my finals (including this one) are due starting this Friday.
By clear, do you just mean a simple "clear" message to remove all points inside of the envelope?
yep.
sorry for such a simple "feature request"
only stating this since you asked in the first post.
might come up with other ideas later.
still didnt use all of the "modules"
something else; its actually kind of funny that you call them "euromax"
there isnt anything specific about the euroformat besides the smaller size is there?
isnt it more based on analogue modular synthesis in general, or do you refer to other specifics?
No problem, I'm definitely looking for bug reports and feature requests.
As for Eurorack, the modules do actually simulate some of my favorite Euro-format modules. The Matrix Sequencer is based on TipTop's Z8000, the Burst Generator is based on The Harvestman's Stillson Hammer, the Looping AD Generator is based on the Malekko/Wiard Envelator, and the Output Rotator can be used with the Bang Divider to simulate the 4ms Pedals' Rotating Clock Divider.
There are going to be more. The next one I plan on tackling after this round of bug fixes and feature requests (including auto-reset after a number of steps for the bang divider) is a Cartesian Sequencer, sort of like Make Noise's new Rene (although it won't have the performance interface or quantizer that Rene has). I'm also going to be working on including more effects (like a workhorse delay), a beefier oscillator (based on the Hertz Donut), and individual drum synths with built in envelopes. These updates will start rolling out in the second half of December after I get back home.
Ah really? Didnt even think of that!
Now i will look at them totally different.
Hah! Please do my all time favorite module; the Wiard (Malekko) Noisering!!
Just added MIDI modules. Download now:
Thanks for these :)
