since hard disc was "repaired", max can't load buffer~, rec~etc.

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to the forum.

I have the folloing situation: after noticing irregularities in general with my PB (pre-intel, 10.4.6) I repaired the hard disc, using the Apple's hard disc utility.

As a result,max/msp (4.5.7) can't load now a few essential objects, like buffer~, rec~, and a few more, the message being, for example:
? error: can't fragload buffer~ (missing <>), err -2804

What can I do to solve this? Any help much appreciated.
