Soundflower Question

Hi,
Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but as I expect this is a very simple matter, maybe someone can help me out.
I have a standalone application (in this case built in the now defunct Intakt player from NI) that will only work standalone, not as a plug-in in Logic on Intel Macs. Naturally I thought Soundflower would be the way to pipe audio from this thing into Logic. So, I've set it all up---the output of the Intakt device as Soundflower 2 Channel, then in Logic I set the audio device in the audio prefs to Soundflower 2Ch. No matter what I do, I'm getting what appears to be a feedback loop when I arm my track to record in Logic. I tried setting the audio prefs for the Mac to Soundflower, in, out, you-name it, every variation I can think of between the Mac's audio prefs and Logic and Intakt's audio prefs. Still, the only thing I get is this horrendous feedback loop in Logic.
can anyone advise? Many Thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS 10.4.11, Logic 8

EDIT:

OOOOps! Looks like I just got it working, with Soundflowerbed.
Phew. Anyhow, this saves me from having to jockey between two computers just to use a few sounds from this thing. Very happy.

I generally always use the 16 channel version and have all soundflower inputs coming into logic start with inputs 3-4 and have logic's outputs set to 1-2. This guarantees no feedback loops.

You can also mute the recording channel, it will still record but not output any sound.
