sparkly pixels on model edges and surfaces

I am getting little white pixels on the edges and surface of my models. Also at the point where different angled surfaces connect. It's only apparent on complex models though. Seems to correlate a bit also to near_clipping plane value. Just wondering if anyone offhand knows what could cause this?

I'm not a modelling guy but I've seen this sort of thing before from overlapping polygons if that helps at all.

Blend mode and depth test mode also can contribute to this. less than vs less than equal for depth test perhaps? without images its hard to say.

Thanks for the help. I've not heard of depth test mode before.

Here are a few images. The first has 3 small spots that I've circled in red. The other screenshot has these dots all around the edges.

That may be a normals issue. You could try looking at your model with the normal visualizer shader and see if you note any aberrant pixels. Like I said, its hard to know without more specifics. Sometimes importing a model into a editor and re-exporting it cleans up values.

3D is complicated. Welcome to the pain.
