Streaming from Website

May 27 2008 | 11:38 pm

Is there an object to grab the video from a website, or if not grab a section from the computer screen. I know there is jit.qt.grab but I don’t think that is the right object.

I am trying to grab live internet web-feed and send them through a jitter patch, any help would be amazing.

jit.desktop is what you are likely thinking about.

I don’t know the best way to do it, I’ve been wondering that myself.

A good way to do it would be to use jit.desktop to screenshot jweb. It’s a little slow but then you could run jit.desktop through OpenGL as or to get a performance boost.

Best of luck.

would be cooler if it could display java applets, you could also load an mpeg stream straight into a movie object
