I have found a couple of topics from way back about this, but no solutions. Oggpro seems to be out of action, shoutamp~ has disappeared from the web.. PD appears to have a couple of objects but they require compiling; I am on a windows 7 machine and this is not something I want to delve into unless absolutely necessary.

But, are these confirmed to be working in Max 6? I checked out oggamp~ but it didn't seem to work on Mac 6.08 or 6.12, see screen... unless I'm doing something silly that is.

for a current audio streaming project i used olaf´s object on a win 7 computer.

so, maybe you have an outdated version, or multiple versions of the objects in your searchpath?

the best would be to contact olaf directly … he is a kind guy and will help you.

hi johannes, do you have the Pro versions of oggamp~ and oggcast~ for OSX? I have been trying to get in touch with Olaf about getting them, but have not had any success...

i managed to get Robin Gareus' externals. They are available here, though they are unmaintained.

I just tried oggrx~ from the v0.6 version of the links posted by umma08, in Max 6.1.8 - played an MP3 file from a web URL.

does anybody have any updates to this? I have seemed to run into problems with my oggrx~ objects running as a Max for Live patch on Ableton 9.6. Crashes every time - even though the object is stable in Max.
