Transport Rewind

I am working with the transport object. I need different tempi and time signatures in the piece that I am working on. Which is now supported without having to rewind the transport.

However, when I do change these elements, the transport does not go back to zero when told to rewind. It usually goes back to the start of the previous time change. I need this feature in order to move around the work during rehearsals.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I tried your example and got similar results. I think the transport does not like those long messages you have formatted. I tried it by using [timepoint] and separating the messages and it seemed to rewind fine. Patch below.

One thing I did notice was that in the transport help file pressing the timesig message updated the units being reported out of the transport but did not update the units in the floating transport GUI window. (vista and win7).

The help file says that time signature can only be changed when time is at 0.
So I guess breaking this rule may lead to unexpected behavior.
