[transport], rewire and time signature changes doesn't work well together

Trying to use [transport] (in "clocksource rewire" mode) to get Digital Performer's current play position, Max introduce some beat offset after it receives well chosen time signature changes.

You can play the attached midifiles in your favorite sequencer (set up as rewire mixer) while trying the following patch (beware, it will turn your DSP settings to rewire!!). At the end of the sequence, when the score goes back to 4/4, [transport]'s position is wrong.

Another problem I unfortunately cannot reproduce (I lost the midifile that produced it) is that after some time signature changes, [transport] was counting beats like 3 4 3 4... rather than 1 2 1 2...

Just tried the same patch with Max5.1...

The result is even worse than with 5.0.8. There are still beat offsets but now the bars count sometimes decreases at some time signature changes...
As the attachments seem to have disappered from this new forum, I can send the MIDI files to those who would like to test...

I can confirm the sync issue here and we will take a look.

Wow how did I miss this! I just posted the same problem above. I hope someone has an answer.

Any news on this? I tried with Max5.1.4 under OSX.6.4, but there are unfortunately still problems!
I attached a MIDI file, in case someone wants to try.
