I made a step seq, sending midi crazy datas to my Roland MKS 50. Everything works perfectly if it's static, if the datas are not automated. The idea, is to send time ramps of datas ( for example to control one param, from 20 to 100 in 70 ms each time it's trigged ) ; It produces really powerfull things, but it's full of unstability, it's impossible to recall exactly the same thing after saving a preset ( using the preset object ) , + when it s actioned ,a low note of the mks 50 is dropped and stay fixed all the time , which is really annoying.

Here there is a little patch, kindly made by Source Audio , the datas ramps seems super ok, more the way it's translated into Sysex no ?, any idea ?

( you have to imagine there is 7 like that in the big patch , running together, but the problem exists just with one )

You should really look at the specs for the MKS50... Sysex is not a realtime message so synths can take a long time (wrt to CPU) to process the info - the older it is, the more likely it will have problems...

You'll probably find that you need to leave some time in between consecutive messages....
