Is there any way to open two max patches each with a different audio driver on the same machine?

e.g: One with ad_rewire to a sequencer and another connecting to a second sound card?

When I try they both change to the same driver.

I know you can have the input driver be different from the output driver but I dont believe you can have inputs/outputs from 2 different drivers.
