Video formats supported by Jitter?

I have Quicktime installed, but my only video files are .mp4 or .wmv. Short of converting, is it possible to use them in jitter patches?

if it plays in quicktime, it will play in jitter. so mp4 should play wmv not.

You can play WMV on Mac with the following components for QT.
