Hi there,

regarding the first installment of Andrew's tutorial series, I'd like to understand the purpose of the colormode conversions within the texture conversion sub patch.

I do understand that uyvy colormode is more efficient (50%) than argb, but haven't fully grasped the need to convert the color info back into rgba. Is this required to apply the subsequent shaders (co.*.jxs), or is it related to getting back to the full resolution ?

Speaking of shaders, is there any background information on the provided jitter shaders ?
