Webcam /video camera suggestions
I am searching a good webcam /video camera (USB interface preferred). I am hoping to have one that no only record video but also record sound through jit.qt.record. Any recommendations?
ps3 eye, cheap and has good sound and video. i am currently working on getting full control of the camera in jitter as well but it currently supports basic control functions quite well. you can also do a basic search on the forums, there are lots of posts about different cameras for different applications. there are lots of different cameras to choose from and odds are if they can open on your OS then you will be able to use it with jit.qt.grab

You need the macam usb driver ( http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ ) to use it with Mac OS X.
has the PS3 Eye been consistent and stable in OS X? (snow leopard?)
The answer is no !
There are some troubles with macam and 10.6……………
I am on mac-mini 10.6, with geforce 9400……… and that's the result: (see attachement)…
Have some of you experienced that ?
